On August 31, 2025, the Harmony Application Sub-forum of the "New Scenario・New Experience" Harmony Ecosystem Conference, hosted by the Global Intelligent IoT Alliance (GIIC) and organized by Harmony Ecosystem Services (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian. Fu Qing, Deputy General Manager of Guokai Hong (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd., demonstrated the PDBox Peripheral Universal Box. This product, with its core breakthrough in "one-to-many" technology, achieves key functions such as "plug-and-play" and "one-box multi-link" for existing peripherals through intelligent protocol conversion and hardware abstraction layer technology, significantly lowering the threshold for device access.

Gong Zhuo, CTO of Honghuwanlian (Jiangsu) Technology Development Co., Ltd., introduced the "Honghu Security and Peace Industry Edition" based on OpenHarmony. This edition, through microkernel design and PDMP protocol, builds an interconnection solution for security and peace industry equipment. It uses industry soft bus to break equipment silos, realizes "super terminal" capabilities, supports networking of over 200 pieces of equipment, achieves multi-link reliability of 99.9%, and improves transmission efficiency by 1.5 times.

Xia Wenqiang, an ecological technology expert in the education industry line of Jiangsu Runkaihong Digital Technology Co., Ltd., brought an AI-driven Harmony application design and practice solution. Through multimodal intention understanding, distributed hardware resource collaboration, and lightweight AI deployment, this solution restructures human-computer interaction logic and realizes seamless service experience driven by user intentions.

Industry Applications Continuously Expanding, Scenario Experiences Continuously Improving

In the field of medical and health care, Ye Zifan, manager of the Smart Medical Ecosystem Cooperation Department at Shenzhen Mengwang Intelligent Technology Development Co., Ltd., introduced a full-stack solution for smart wards. Based on the OpenHarmony platform, this solution breaks through key technical limitations such as traditional audio and video frameworks and hardware invocation permissions. It creates a smart ward system covering the entire scenario of the nurse station, ward, and corridor, providing bedside one-stop intelligent services such as electronic bedside cards, health education, examination reports, and meal ordering services. This significantly improves the efficiency of medical services and patient experience.

Fang Bin, Harmony Ecosystem Solution Manager at China Software & Technology Services, Inc., shared Harmony's innovative applications in the field of converged media. Through capabilities such as smooth reading in weak networks, multi-terminal continuation, voice broadcasting, and system-level push, it achieves efficient experiences such as "instant opening and use" and continuous cross-device experiences. The page opening speed is increased by more than 50%, and the end-side rendering time is shortened from 6-8 seconds to 2-3 seconds.

Chen Yonghui, Harmony Application Ecosystem Product Director at SoftPower Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., demonstrated a new model of digital and intelligent cultural tourism services based on "atomic services + AI." Relying on Harmony's card-based services, near-field perception, and Xiaoyi voice capabilities, this project realizes the shift from "people looking for services" to "services finding people." It provides proactive services through technologies such as LBS, NFC, and beacon.

Honghuwanlian's solution in the security and peace industry realizes comprehensive interconnection and collaborative operation of various terminal devices such as law enforcement recorders, surveillance balls, and security robots. This solution realizes a one-machine multi-position mode through distributed cameras, supports real-time viewing and playback of multi-angle images and videos, realizes one-click rapid deployment of police situations through task flow functions, and significantly improves response speed. It also realizes cross-equipment collaborative analysis through distributed AI algorithms, effectively improving the efficiency and multi-terminal collaborative capabilities of security and peace work.
