OpenHarmony Industrial Control OS Commercialized in Multiple Fields, Redefining the Boundaries of Operating System Applications

On August 30, the Harmony Ecosystem Conference 2025 was grandly held in Shenzhen. On that day, the "OpenHarmony Industrial Control Forum," hosted by the Global Intelligent IoT Alliance and organized by Harmony Ecosystem Services, was successfully held. Themed "New Industrial Control, New Base, New Ecosystem," the forum comprehensively presented the application achievements of the OpenHarmony operating system in the field of industrial control. Its technology has been applied in key scenarios in multiple fields such as light industry, home appliances, steel, medical equipment, and weak electrical control. OpenHarmony is expected to become the core driving force for industrial control devices and will be deployed on a large scale.

The first "RoboHarmony" based on OpenHarmony in industrial control was launched at the forum. The systematic entry of the Harmony ecosystem into the industrial control industry marks the expansion of the application boundaries of OpenHarmony to the field with the greatest difference from consumer terminals. It is another strong proof of OpenHarmony's ability to enable thousands of industries.

At the forum, Long Xiaoang, General Manager of Shenzhen Hualong Xunda Information Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a report titled "Hualong RoboHarmony: Innovative Applications and Practices of Industrial Neurons." He introduced the connotation of Hualong RoboHarmony from aspects such as the research and development process, application scenarios, core capabilities, and toolset software, and stated that the RoboHarmonyOS has been applied in fields such as aviation manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, light industry manufacturing, home appliance manufacturing, industrial robots, and weak electrical control.

During the release session, Hualong Xunda jointly launched the Hualong RoboHarmony operating system with guests from home appliance, light industry, steel, medical equipment manufacturing, building control, chip, and Harmony ecosystem.

Subsequently, Wang Jihong, Executive Vice President and Executive Secretary-General of the China Association of Mechatronics Technology Application, delivered a thematic report on the development direction of intelligence and operating systems in the field of industrial control; Du Anli, Vice President of Loongson Technology, gave a speech titled "Loongson Chips: Committing to Autonomy"; Cao Yong, Director of the China Academy of Building Research, Li Zhengwei, Director of Shenzhen Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd., Shao Haibing, Deputy Minister of Advanced Technology Manufacturing of Haier Zhijia, and Professor Zhang Huisheng from the School of Biomedical Engineering at Shenzhen University respectively gave thematic speeches on the application and innovative practices of OpenHarmony in the fields of weak electrical control, light industry manufacturing, home appliance manufacturing, and medical equipment.

The roundtable dialogue was hosted by An Shuang, Executive Secretary-General of the Harmony Ecosystem Promotion Committee of the GIIC Alliance. Li Sijia, CTO and Executive Vice President of Jiaqiang (Shanghai) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Long Xiaoang, General Manager of Shenzhen Hualong Xunda Information Technology Co., Ltd., Fan Hongguang, General Manager of Beijing Zhongke Honglue Technology Co., Ltd., and Gong Zhuo, CTO of Honghuwanlian (Jiangsu) Technology Development Co., Ltd., engaged in an in-depth dialogue on the coordinated development of industrial control and the OpenHarmony ecosystem.

The successful hosting of this forum provided an important communication platform for the development of the Harmony ecosystem in the field of industrial control. In the future, the industrial control OS based on OpenHarmony will be applied in more fields involving industrial control, helping to bring about a safer, more open, and smarter new ecosystem for industrial control.
