On June 18, 2024, the First General Assembly and the First Board's First Meeting of Global Intelligent Internet of Things Consortium (GIIC) were successfully convened.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed experts and leaders, including Academician Zhang Hongke from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director Zeng Jianpeng of Shenzhen Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, Director Deng Zi'an of the Software and Information Service Industry Division of the Division of Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, Deputy Director Xu Dongfeng of the Social Organization Registration Division of the Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau,and Deputy Director Xu Junwei of the Standards Division of the Shenzhen Administration For Market Regulation.

Members from both domestic and international founding organizations of the GIIC attended the congress through offline and online channels. They reviewed and voted to pass key management documents, including the "Bylaws of the Global Intelligent Iot Consortium" ,the "Election Method for the First General Assembly and the First Board Meeting of Global Intelligent Internet of Things Consortium",and the "GIIC Member Management Measures."The congress also elected the members of the First Board. During the concurrent meeting, The Board Chair, Vice Chairs, and Secretary General were elected.

In the future, the Global Intelligent Internet of Things Consortium will strive to build an international industrial platform focused on global standard research, industrial development, and academic exchange. It aims to provide strong support for the development of China's smart terminal industry and promote the high-quality development of the global Intelligent IoT ecosystem.
